This is a fountain I carved out of house clay. It started out as a cylinder with the front being shorter than the back, built out of coils and lots of slip. The walls were 3-4 inches thick. I then hacked away at it until I was satisfied and then added the b-mix fish I carved out a while ago. I unfortunately had to speed dry the whole thing since the end of the semester was too near, so it cracked a bunch. When I went to bisque fire it the top part of the back section fell on top of everything else due to one of the cracks being a bit to big, and the whole thing crumbled into smithereens. Sad, yes, but I had to much fun making it to really regret it. The whole thing took me a couple weeks, but I did most of the work on three separate days. There will be shots of the front and back as well. Enjoy
